I need to learn how to set the crystal reports database location to the database's path. I'm using Crystal Reports 4.6.1.0 which is included with Microsoft Visual Basic 6. I use ms access as my database and would like to have crystal reports know where that database is no matter where the user places the folder that contains the vb program, the database and the crystal reports that I have designed to workd with the acces database. I have the datacontrol set to the application path but how do I set the crystal report's path to the database?

Hi Paco,

Your description was too cryptic. I am trying to give answer in context, which I understood.

First of all you must be maintaining database path in your application. Because you are already connecting to this database, right?

With the report object, there is property called Database. So before using the report object, you need to set this property to the path of the database. There are other properties too related to database like parameterfields and sqlquerystring that should be passed along depending on the report.

Post again if I am getting you wrong.

Have Fun,
