I have a website domain name that uses https ( i have the certificate installed by my isp and all isp created pages are displayed on my website are displayed by httpS )...however the problem that I am having is that the webpages that I am creating and uploading to the website are not being served securely....(they are displayed as http with out the S.. i use dreamweaver to create the pages). How can I make sure that the pages that I am creating are served securely? I want to make sure all the pages that i create with dreamweaver are displayed with https

It is nothing at all to do with Dreamweaver other than where you upload files, if your hosting setup has seperate directories for HTTPS and HTTP, and how you create the links.

Relative links will always have whatever protocol the connection was first established using, and absolute links will always have the protocol specified.

I think the issue is happening that I have outside content in my webpages...for example I have a google maps embedded in my webpages....could that be the problem? If so how would I force outside content to use https?

Reference it using a HTTPS URI. Always assuming that whatever your external content is available over HTTPS of course.
