I am having various problems with a PCMCIA network card.

I know this card works fine on another laptop but having alot of troubles with conflicts on another laptop.

How can look at the IRQ list in NT Workstation to see which devices are being used so i do not cause a conflict.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Windows NT has a utility called "Windows NT Diagnostics" which appears on the Administrative Tools menu. It will show you, on the "Resources" tab, what IRQs are currently in use.

Additionally, you can use it remotely, by choosing "File", "Select computer" from the menu.

This info, BTW, comes from the registry - not real time...

Hope this helps... - Bill

From the "run" command, type in: winmsd
That will give a host of information about your system that enables you to find out what the OS is doing and how it is configured.
