I tried creating an subscriber and it gave me a error message that the extension is being used as a secondary extension.

How do I find out where that extension is being used?

About the only way i know of short of looking at every MB is to use mailbox manager that came with the system. It will let you sort and filter as well as find. You can also run a FEDB report and search in the file for it.

In mailbox manager lisplay the subscribers. Right click on the heading line and select edit. Add secondary extension to the columns to display. Then you can use the edit/find on secondary extension.
