I am trying to create a Visio Map - Here are the steps I tried:
> Opened Visio
> File-New-Visio Map
> Picked from the menu - Pennsylvania
> Then picked State outline and counties
> When I clicked off the map and it inserted it, it resized it way too narrow and too high?

I'm not sure how to resize the map???
When I click on the map, 6 squares appear. If I drag one of the end middle squares (top or sides) I would think that the item should resize itself only on that axis. However, the map is automatically keeping the original incorrect proportion.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance - Joel

Right-click on the shape, select Format -> Protection, uncheck the "Aspect ratio" option, then click on the OK button.
