Yes, I have been stuck at this step for a while. I want to run things on my side server *Apache*. Php scripts to be percise. and I need to know where do I save .. Or how do I run things on it. I am lost here and would appriate any help I can get.

I run on a Windows xp system. If you need anything else to help me just type it up. thank you for reviewing this and have an perductful day.

hi ace!

i assume you installed php and configured apache for it?
php - scripts are put in you htdocs as any other "webfiles", too and are run by visiting the corresponding url...

When you type "localhost" in your web browser, does a test page come up? If so then your apache server is working ans serving pages. To get it to serve your pages instead of the test page, just replace it with your stuff. As aschi666 just mentioned it is in a sub-directory called htdocs. Where this is depends on how apache was installed. Some WAMP packages will put it just off the root directory such as c:/web/htdocs while others will put it in something like C://Program Files/PackageName/ There is a way to move htdocs but we will wait to see if you can get it working the way it is first.
