I'm designing a program in VB and intend to utilize Crystal Reports. I have Version 8.0 Developers Edition, but have not had the time to look over it yet, I've been busy with VB. I am at a point however where I need to start considering how to save the data on the report so it can be called and viewed or printed at a later date.

Would this be better accomplished saving the data to a database and calling it back to a Report or saving the Crystal Report to file(if it is possible).

I guess the main question I have is can the data, once it's on a report, be saved to file and called up again by some type of reference #???

You can save the data with the report. Hit the File drop down and select that option. You can also set it up in the options section.

Good to hear!! Thanks Nicatt
