how do i restore the intrnet explorer icon??? 1

Desktop properties -> Customise Desktop -> Having the internet explorer icon can be selected from there and should overide whether its been deleted or not.
Unless you mean they have deleted to .exe file? You could just recrete the icon with the iexplore.exe command.
