how do I restore the directory structure in a win95 backup fil ext=qic

I have a backup that I made with win95's backup program but when I try to restore from it it says there is no folders, so I would assume I need to rebuild the directory structure, But, win95 does not give me that option and neither does win98se. has anybody ran into this before? if so how did you fix it?<br>
