I deleted someone's exchange account a few weeks ago. I now would like to restore the email from a month ago. How do I do that? I do daily backups. Does anyone know the path and files I need to restore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Sierra,

It all depends on the backup software that you are using. Does it support brick level backups of the exchange server? If not, the only method of restoring a single account is to setup a test server , and restore the full information store onto it. You will then need to export the mail items from the mailbox that you are seeking into a PST file, and import that file into the users active mail account. There are however a number of items that you must be aware of when setting up your test server. The following links refer to microsoft documents that have some information on specifics of restoring information stores:

Hope this helps.
