I made a flash movie and now realize i dont want the whole document to show up just the size of the movie graphics themself. i have tried >modify >document to shape of contents but this does not change it to the correct size.
is there a crop feature or anything that would work would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You need to change the dimensions of your movie ... MODIFY > DOCUMENT > change height and width to appropriate sizes.

Unfortunately this sizes the stage down using the 0,0 co-ordinates (top left corner of the stage) ... there's no other way. You'll just have to move your content to that area (try using the multiple frames button ... it allows you to move lots of things at once).

Usually its a good idea to figure out what size your movie is going to be BEFORE you start making it :) - live and learn.

right click on the stage or the Scene go to properties and fit the stage to your dimensions..(in pixels, cm, inches...)It works from flash 5 and MX.
