I added a bookmark when I connected to a server. The server has now been given a different address. I've created a new bookmark for the new server address. How do I remove the old bookmark?

What I've tried: pull down the Places menu, expand Bookmarks then try deleting/right clicking/middle clicking the item to be deleted. Unfortunately, no luck so far.

It is not a browser. It is on the Places menu. This is how I created the bookmark:

1) From the Menus, Click on Places
2) From the pulldown, select Connect to Server...
3) In the dialog, fill in the bits and tick Add bookmark then click Connect.

If I now click on Places/Bookmarks, the bookmark I created appears in the list. How do I remove this bookmark?

I am not a Fedora guy, but worth a try...

have you tried to Drag&Drop it into the Trashcan?

Yes I've tried dragging, I can't drag it anywhere. It still tries to open.

I found a fix. I have to open my home directory. Click on Places and there is an Edit Bookmarks. I can remove it from there. Why can't they add that to the Places menu on the title bar?

I normally just use command line for most things. Everytime I use the GUI, I get stuck with problems like these. Thanks for your help. Have a great new year.

xwb - glad you finally found the lnk where you can edit it... yes, sometimes the GUI can be backwards or a hindrance...
