Hi Everyone,

I used the Form wizard to create an update form. It created a "Select" procedure which I am not using because I am populating the lookup value in the "Prime on Insert" dialogue.

Can you tell me how to delete the reference to this not needed procedure?

Thanks.

Emad

Hi Emad,

Check the Procedures in the Form procedure to see whether the Select procedure is there. If so, remove it. If it is being called by a template or a button, remove it. A simple way to find out if the procedure is linked to (being called by) any other procedure is to go to the Procedure View in the Application and collapse the MAIN frame procedure. All Global and non-called procedure should be outside the frame tree. If your To Do procedure is outside the tree i.e. no referenced by another procedure, make it a Source procedure and then DELETE it.

Regards

Hi ShankarJ,

I will try this one as well in the morning.

When I looked at the source code, there was a call to the procedure in the "window manager" section.

Thanks for the help.

Truly,
Emad

Hi ShankarJ,

Sorry for the long delay in responding.

I checked in those locations and because there was a lot of possible places, I ended up removing the procedure and let the wizard re-do it and the to-do went away.

Thanks.
