I have a user that is in one pbx and has an ext in another pbx on our network and wants to be able to call forward one phone to the other when at either location....example.....I am in pbx #1 and I am leaving to go to my desk at pbx #2, I want to forward all of my calls from my phone on pbx #1 to my phone on pbx #2...both systems are networked and have 5 digit dialing between them.....what is the best way to do this??????

Remotely activated... Telecommunter access or Remote access.. if you have them enabled.

Remote access FAC, "change remote" or change tele. Beware though, remote access is considered to be a possible point of toll fraud. It basically gives you a console dial tone remotely.

Another round about option is to remote control a PC that has a modem setup with console permissions, use something like hyper terminal to dial the digits (FAC)...

Thanks,

Good ideas, thanks guys......I will see what I can work out....

Coverage remote may be just the ticket. You could have this set up so they hit the SAC button it follows the coverage path to the other site.

Just a thought.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
