How do I Relocate Programmes to another Drive

I've recently added a new slave HDD and want to move some programmes from my primary drive onto the new drive. Having searched for the appropriate software, none of them seem to state that they can simply move a programme. I briefly tried the Windows XP 'Files and Settings Transfer Wizard' but I aborted that because it informed me that it was unable to copy certain system files.

Can anyone tell me what if any software there is to achieve this task?
