I have recently purchased a BCM 50e Which when powered up seemed to function properly but no password to access programming. I then hire a local BCM Phone Guy from yellow pages to access system and retrieve or replace password. He seems to not know that much more than I do. I for some stupid reason suggest a LEVEL 1 reset which I think should only erase password and programming not keycodes. I am almost certain in his infinite wisdom he has selected a LEVEL 2 instead. The system no longer answers through BCC and telset has new message saying "Keycode Required". Paid guy $125 an hour plus travel time to possible ruin the system. Can anyone shed some light on this for Me?
