How do I record an announcement?

I have set up an ACD, a mailbox, an entry in the Voice Service DN Table and created an announcement definition.

I just cannot create the recorded message.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

are you using meridian mail? if so dial your prompt maint. access code and enter your voice service id and update password that you specified when you built your voice menu for your vsdn in voice services, or you can record voice while in the vs menu. just scroll to it hit the appropiate soft key, It will prompt you for a number, enter the ext. you want to use and hit enter. pickup and use the softkey controls to record.
