How do I re initialize a startalk? 3

I am setting up an mics 5.0 w/a startalk vm. This star talk unit is from another site, and I want to start from scratch w/ it. So how do I restart it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, the DN length is not changing. We are keeping it at 3. But just out of curiousity, why would it matter?

It would determine the KSU you would need to do the defaulting from. For example, if you were moving to a 3 DN setup from a 2DN setup then you would want to default the Flash before it was disconnected and moved. The Flash is set for the 2 DN system and will not come up on the 3 DN system as it doesn't recognise the DN coding. Can be messy.

After doing the Feature 983 and logging in and coming to the MBox AA Othr prompt you will need to type in REINSTALL as the password.

Then once it has done it's thing (give it a good 5 minutes) Then do a Feature 903 first. It will give you the feature code range. Just say OK.

Then you'll be able to go into Feature 983, enter 266344 for the password. It will ask you a series of configuration questions. Just say yes, or Ok, or next to everything and it will configure the vmail. MRoberts
