I want to add two autodial keys that go to our VM's express messaging system. I know how to program the keys on to regular 2000 series meridian phones but when I go to add the keys to the console phone it gives me this:

REQ: chg
TYPE: 2250
SCH0111

SCH0111 =
>SCH0111
You have entered an invalid resonse for that prompt. The system is
unable to match the field input with the stored mnemonics.
Action: Enter NEW, OLD, or {CR}.
R15
Severity: Info

any ideas?

Thanks,
Jesse

Thanks for the fast reponse,

I was using LD 11. I tried LD 12 but it must be different than doing CHGs in LD 11 to regular sets b/c after entering in the TYPE: 2250, I get ANUM. I don't know what to do from here and I really don't want to mess up the operator phone. Can anyone take me step by step on how to add keys this way?

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response,
I was using LD11. I tried going to LD12 but I'm not familiar with this load. It prompts: ANUM after entering in 2250 for TYPE. I don't want to disrupt service to the operator so I don't want to go any further without knowing what I'm doing. Can anyone show me step by step instructions on how to add keys to the console phone?

Thanks,
Jesse

ok, ignore that last post, i thought it didn't post the first time. Must of been stuck in my cache.

Can I just <cr> down through the prompts until I get to Keys without changing any other functions?

The best way to do this is just keep pressing enter key until you get
Key prompt that you type key number and then ADL

ok, I tried it and it looked like it was set right. But, when the operator presses the button she just gets a fast busy. this may be something that only pertains to how my system is set up. I might just call it in to Bellsouth.

What key did you program that ADL on ? if it’s on 10 or higher that you have to use shift key and that that key key’s go from 0 to 9 and that press sift and you have from 10 to 19

Hope this helps

I got it to work. She just had to press the key, dial the extension and press it again. On my set I was able to enter in the number in the programming, I guess it's different on a 2250 console.
Thanks a lot for your help,

Jesse
