how do i print a specific spread in indesign cs3?

hi everyone i am new here. i have been building my portfolio book in indesign cs2 and recently switched to indesign cs3. i find that the print booklet is not as capable as the inbooklet se as i cant select a specific spread to print out.

lets say i want to make a 16-page signature book double side printed. in cs2, i can pick the range of a spread instead of just the range of page. which makes it possible to print on both size since i need to flip the paper after finishing one spread. i immediately thought about printing it out in cs2 but it wouldnt let me open the file because of some plugin issues that i dont quite figure out.

any solution?
