How do I preview asp pages 1

Hi

I was working on a website in dream weaver. Another person
then converted the pages from HTML to asp pages. The site
will not preview in live view or even in a web browser.
I`m wondering what`s needed to do a preview.

TIP: trying googling the answer before posting, you'll find that more times than not someone else somewhere has had the same request and posted an answer online.

I have recently been semi-converted to ensuring all my code (well most of it) works in both javascript and non-javascript enabled browsers

I did some googling with a search of "previewing asp web pages". Never did I see any mention of the IIS install.
Dreamweaver help files seemed even worse when it came to instructions for previewing files other then standard html
pages.
