Hello,

We have a BCM 400, software version 4.0.2.03; our system is also set to use set volume by default, ie Global Settings > Feature Settings > Receiver Volume > Use Set Volume.

However, it seems whenever I do a BCM backup or reboot all of our phone set volumes do not retain there individual settings. How can I prevent this from happening (phone set volumes from being reset)?

Thanks

Ok, thanks. Is there somewhere I can research the patches before I install or so that I may pick and choose which to install. I want to avoid any unexpected side effects. I'm a newbie in managing this system.

I think that you will find that there is nothing you can do to avoid this. In my experience this is normal. You will also notice that if you have Background Music turned on & then turned down at individual sets that the levels reset after a system reboot.

Each patch has a readme file that outlines expected results. Tedious but worth the time to read.
