I am finding a problem with some sites that automatically open up new Internet Explorere windows. I asume they are using something in the html or java script to do so.

HOW can I prevent that from occuring and force the page to load in my already open window?

I am guessing there is a registry setting that I can change but I have no idea which one.
I have already been through the security and explorer options and see nothing there to help me.

They are most likely using the html <a href="url address" target=_blank> to open the new window. I am not aware of any way to stop that.
