Does anyone know what pair provides power to the attendant console on the aux port?

The yellow brown is Ground & the Brown yellow is -48V (Aux cable J1). The ground goes to pin 8 & the -48v to pin 7 of the console cable.

WoodsideBrian, there is a distance of limitations that should be aware of when running off the Aux. Port. I am not sure but I believe that it is 500 feet. I ran into intermittent power problems using the Aux ports, and had to wire then to the brown pair of a 4 pair cable. This ended up being the best solution, as I ran those power units to a small UPS. I used the power supplies that were installed on the 7444 sets, to a power strip, to a 500 KVA UPS. No more problems.

U can also power the console with a MSP-1 power supply plugged in underneath the desk, and plugged into a adapter that connects into the digital jack for the attdt.

Thanks for your responses. I ended up finding the power on the yellow-brown and brown-yellow pair.
