Hello,

I created a new .css file and would like to store it in the same location as the .css files that came with Sharepoint (grape, tropical, etc). But I cannot figure out where this directory is. I looked around in IIS and found the directory, but I cannot add anything there (nor can I find the actual directory on my Sharepoint Server).

you can find all css (style sheet)
files in the following place on your server:

http://[SERVERNAME]/[WORKSPACENAME]/portal/resources/

I've seen this answer before and it's simply not true for Portal Server (it may be true for Team Server).

I'm not sure if Team Server is different from Portal Server or what but I've run a full search on my C: drive and reviewed the official SDK and the .CSS file (OWS.CSS) simply does not exist.

My kingdom for a .CSS file!

Well, aren't I just Mr Wrong today.

This works if you use the web view in file manager (as link described above) and you have "hidden" files set to visible. For some reason I was looking for a physical file system... I'm not sure I trust these web folders... but we'll see.

So, I stand corrected, the previous solution does indeed work.
