I am producing a manual for my companies new program and i just finished the majority of the text. Now I have to jazz it up with some screen shots and pictures. With the big pictures i have just placed (CTRL+D) the pictures in the document flowing with the text. But with the smaller pictures i would like to place them where the text could word wrap around them. Currently I have just placed them off the page and then just drag them to the spot where i want the picture to appear. The problem with this is that if i need to add in additional text, the text all moves but the pictures are stationary on the page.

Anyone know how to setup the picture setting so that the text wraps around the picture?

Thanks in advance.

You need to place the images 'inline' with the text if you want them to move with the text. Please them while you have the text cursor in the text frame. If you have InDesign CS2, check the manual about 'anchors'.

The 'Text Wrap' pallete is found in the Window menu unter Type & Tables.

Ok i did use the Type & Table menu but my problem now is that if i put it in line with the text it only is effected at that spot in the text and any text below seems to just ignore the borders of the picture? Does that make sense?
I hope so.... any suggestions.
