How do I p/up an incoming call from non ringing economy handset

Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to p/up an incoming call from a handset that is not programmed to appear or ring. The handset I need to answer is an economy (no display)handset. Is there a feature code for pick up?

What kind of Norstar does not have a display?? Are you using an analog with an ata?

If the phone is hooked up to an ATA, you could try programming the port to be in the same pickup group as the phone you are trying to pickup and then hit *75 or *76 and the extension to be picked up. Make sure the analog phone port is primed to internal dialtone. I can't say this will work for sure but accordding to programming it should. Hope this helps.

Call pick-up will work on a analog phone. If you have all your phones in the same ring group, Flash - *75 will work.
