How do I open this file in Windows Explorer

Hi,

Does anyone know how I open the following file in Windows Explorer, rather than in the same browser window. Could you also tell me how to open the file in a new browser window?

I have tried to amend the following by adding -- target="_blank" -- but the JS menu disappears.

aI("text=Project Number Request Form;url=//Pdc1/Data/Planning/Project Mgmt/Project Number Request.doc;;status=Project Number Request Form;")

You really are going to have to provide some more details and code. The code you've given has no context at all. it would be like me asking you "Did you finish it OK?" and expecting you to kow what I was talking about.

The other code would be a start. What HTML element calls the aI function? What HTML does it affect? Those bits of relevant code would be good, at very least.

We don't even know at this stage if it is an HTML problem. It might be that this isn't the best forum to ask in (but that doesn't mean you should crosspost - at least not until that has been ascertained).
