how do I open port 1433

Being relativly new....

How do I open a port on a FreeBSD system (v 6.2)

I can not find any documentation.

If you do not have a firewall enabled, for example pf, ipf, or ipfw then there should be nothing blocking that port.

Maybe if you give more info I can help better.
