I need to use the fs command to open a full window but I want the flash to be positioned in the centre of the screen and not stretched to fit the whole screen. How do I do this. Please help...

HI Lizzie:

okay, been trying this but I can't see the fullscreen due to problems on my side. Anyway, try pushing the button, if a 550x200px davdesign animation goes fullscreen and retains the dimensions let me know and I'll gladly submit details of all the .html .swf & .fla for downloading:

There's no 'quit' button yet so you'll have to use Alt-F4 to close the screen.

If this doesn't show any positive results then I'm sorry for wasting time. Have to try at least!!

p.s.

there's no FScommand involved in this, so if you MUST use FScommand then this won't be of any help after all.

Cheers Dave.
I have actually sorted the problem though. It would have been fine if it was an HTML page but it to be on a stand alone player. I fixed the problem by putting in all the fs commands!! Like so:

fscommand ("fullscreen", "true");
fscommand ("allowscale", "false");
fscommand ("showmenu", "false");

This allows the player to stretch to full screen without the menu bar, but does not stretch the contents that is placed in the middle. Hope this helps someone else...
