How do I open a hyperlink from a form?

I have a list box that when you double click on a record, it goes to the table which contains the file location for that record. The file location is stored as a hyperlink on the table and when you click on it, it opens the file. Now, I have it so that when you double click on it, I can get the file location but how do I open it?
