I was told that I could run a file on startup from the registry. What I want to do is use adobe reader to open a pdf file on startup. What would the steps be to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.
Rick

Just drag a shortcut to that file into the All Programs/Startup StartMenu-folder, so the default pdf reader will open it.
+ it allows the user to drag it out when he gets bored by it.
