How do I obtain an LDAPS certificate for AADS?

Hey guys,

Trying to deploy AADS myself as a semi-beginner and having trouble getting past the part where you connect it to Active Directory.
I don't know anything about AD - we have another administrator for that. I'm trying to work with her to get a "Secure LDAP Trusted Certificate" that AADS says it needs.

I asked her if she can generate that for me and she is basically saying I need to create a CSR file for her first. I have no idea how to do this and don't see anywhere in the AADS Configuration Utility to create one. I'm not even to the point where I can access the web interface yet.

By the way, I'm trying to connect it to AD because it seems like AADS is telling me this is mandatory.

And in the end, the whole point of this is so we can use the softphone software. It was Avaya Communicator, I forget what it's called currently.

So my questions are:
- How can I get this certificate?
- Is connecting to AD really mandatory to even get to the point where I can access the web UI?

Thank you!

We're using Windows Server 2022 for AD.
Here's my config.
