How do I null an HL7 segment using Java in eGate?

I am attempting to send an HL7 message. The input and output ETDs are set up the same so I am able to do an unmarshal / marshall (ex: etImpacADT.unmarshal(etLWADT.marshal());). Before I send the outbound message I need to get rid of the PV1 in the outbound message. Does anyone know of a way to remove this segment in this scenario? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

You can clear with omit for segments with 0-1 occurrence and clear for segments with 0-more occurrences.
