Hi,
In the Advanced tab of Preferences (IE 6.0.2800), I checked the 'Do not search from address bar'.
Yet when I type in something that is not known, the 'AutoFill' or whatever in the address box shows:
Search For: <blah, blah>.
Then if not found, I get the page not found (which is good) BUT the address bar contents change to:
I have NO consentual relationship with MSN.com, so why are they trying to 'help' me by barging into what I type in the address bar and *removing* what I typed in, so that I can't even easily check for typos in what I typed in in the first place--because they overwrote it?
How do I *truly* keep them out of my address bar?
