How do I measure the dimensions of a text box?

I normally use Illustrator *dodges rotten fruit* , so forgive me for asking this silly question.

I can't seem to find where the wdth and height of my text box is displayed - any ideas?

Hi, you will find the dimensions in Properties (command I) on a mac hit the object tab and there you go!
