I've tried google, and used the /Cleanviews method described here.. which seems to work for turning off grouping, but it doesn't stick when outlook is exited and restarted with the regular outlook shortcut.
also, is there any way to sort it ascending and have the folder open with the scroll bar all the way at the bottom instead of the top? I seem to have had no problem with having it stay at the bottom and displaying the most recent message in outlook 2002... outlook 2007 seems to want to default to the message at the top of the list.. which is an old message if I sort ascending.
