Hey all, I just purchased a new laptop for my General Manager. He likes the laptop but he just asked me to tweak his Outlook 2003. What he wants is for the "preview" text to be larger. He has three panes viewable in his Outlook. On the left is the "Mail" pane, in the middle is the "Inbox" pane, and on the right is the contents of the email . I checked the screen resolution and it's set at 1024x768 so I'm not dealing with an issue of too high resolution. Does anyone know how to make the preview text larger?

Thanks,

Joe B

Ok, the GM just called me and said he figured it out. He's not sure how, but if it's working that's cool. My motto normally is "If it's not broke fix it 'til it is" but since he's the GM I'll leave him be.

Thanks,

Joe B

Nope, it's not. He just came and talked to me and said that it's not larger so I STILL would like to know if there's a way to increase the size of the font in messages. going into Tools-->Options-->Mail Format-->Fonts doesn't make the text in messages any larger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe B

I don't use Outlook, but I believe it uses font size set in IE.

Also, try right clicking the border of the preview window.

Only here temporarily during job transition....again....but better this time.

xlhelp, neither of those options worked. Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks,

Joe B

Does anyone else have any suggestions??? I'll even take wild guesses and see if they work.

Thanks,

Joe B

Open Outlook. Go to View>Current View>Customise Current View and select Other Text.

There you will find the setting to change the Font for AutoPreview.
