Hi,

I need to make the buttons and the Macro's that I have created in Excel 2007 available to other users on our company Portal.

The problem that I have is that after I have created these Macro's and included them in buttons on the "Quick Access Bar" I then put the Sheet on the Portal but, because the user has his own Excel installation the buttons is not available and the References to the relevant libraries is gone.

How can I overcome this problem ?

Regards

I'm no expert, but I know when you create macros, there's an option to "store" them on the file in use or in a personal file called PERSONAL.XLS. This way the macro is always available for you to use, but does not travel with the file itself. Maybe you have the macros you created stored in a personal file. If you go to Windows and Unhide, you might find the PERSONAL.XLS there and see. Good luck with it.

Hi Scott02,

I wil play around with this and see if this makes a difference. The macros was in the workbook itself. I will lokk at the other two mothods as well.

Thx

If you still have issues then please post in the VBA forum.

Not sure what the "quick access bar" is but these might help regarding references:
