How do I make a graphic like this - please help

Hi folks. I am learning Flash, but I am assuming (possibly way of) that the background image on this site (with the little VW's) was made in Illustrator. Any ideas how to do something like that? Also - the grayish background with the diagonal lines to the right of the photo - is that a flash thing or an illustrator thing as well?

Any help would be so very appreciated.

Looks like they copied and pasted a white "VW" logo accross and down a bunch of times then just put a gradient background behind it.

Both Illustrator and Flash deal with vector graphics, so I wouldn't worry too much on which program these things were made... If you know how to work your way around Flash, you'll do everything in Flash; the same goes for Illustrator.
