I would like people to download a patch off my website.
Is it a javascript that I use?
Example if you want this patch click this button.
Thank you for any help.

you cannot make a patch run automatically on someone's computer. However using simple HTML you can give a user the choice to download or execute code from your site. Simply link to the patch instead of an HTML file.

Now you do realise though that people will not run the code automatically and that is a good thing. Right? Gary Haran
