I'm trying to make a coloring book in director trhe whole Idea is it is for a childrens game but I would like to know if there is an easier way other than chopping up the entire inamge and segmenting it to fill it in. Is there a fill command on some sort in order to fill between black lines? An example would be if I scanned an image from a coloring book and opened it in photoshop I woudl be able to use the paint bucket to fill between the black lines is there a command in director?

Are you using version 8? I've done this in version 8. It's not too hard to do, actually, and the file size is pretty small.

Yeah I should've explained I am using director 8

There are some freebie lingo scripts in the library to let you draw on the stage. You can define brushes using bitmaps and also set a color palette. Everything you need should be in there.
