Is there a way to fully justify text in a cell using html?

Thank you,

Jeremy Corbitt

Thanks for the reply...

That wouldn't work for me. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeremy

I think we need a better explanation of what you want if starway's is not what your looking for. please! I may not get it the 1st or 2nd time,
but how sweet that 15th time can be.

I'm trying to fully justify the text, similar to its use in WordPerfect or Word, in a cell.

Maybe full justification is an improper description...but that's what I'm looking for.

Jeremy

no, justification is the right word. most likely the reason it donse not to what you want is because it only justifies the words, not the letters. what i meen is: it will space the words to fit, but not the letters (word dose the letters as well). i had the same problem a wile back. i found no solution...

Of course you cannot justify the letters. I didn't hear about any software that does it. Even professional publishing suits allow only a manual control over the letterspacing.

You can try to use [tt]letter-spacing[/tt] CSS property. Sometimes it is sufficient to improve the look of the layout.

good luck

hmm, you right. i was almost sure ms word justified the letters aswell. well, i guess it dosen't matter. anyway, corbitt, was that your problem?

Hi Jeremy (and all others)

<td align=&quot;justify&quot;> doesn't work for me either.

This works in IE4.0 + IE5.5:
(doesn't work in NN4+ , I don't know about NN6)

<td style=&quot;text-align:justify&quot;>

Hope this helps,
