Hi,

I haven't worked much in the latest Access 2007 yet but, I do know that in the Acces 2000 and 2003 I used to lock the screens in a maximised position in order for my users to ONLY see the front end when they work in a production state however, I can't remember how I use to do this and I am not sure how to do this in Access 2007. I thnk it used to be a check box or something in the properties somewhere that you needed to check. Whenever one wanted to design something afterwards then you only needed to hold shift and spacebar in whenever the application loaded and then Access opened in design mode.

Can anyone please help by telling me how it is done in Access 2007.

Thanks

Do a help lookup on creating a .mde .

Ever notice how fast Windows runs? Me neither.

An mde is a compiled Access database that does not allow changes to table structures, forms, reports, etc. It is created by clicking "Make .mde". The location of the button or menu depends on the version of Access. Check it out in Access help (see above).
