How do I load a button position from an external file?

Dear friends,

I'd like to be able to load the initial position of a few buttons in a scene from an external file. With movieclips I use onClipEvent(load){...}, but how to control the initial position of the buttons?

You could probably store the xpos & ypos of "button movie clips" in variables in a text file (&xpos1=100&ypos1=150&xpos2=250&etc...etc...), then after making your "button movie clips" invisible to start with, read those variables, position the clips, and when that's done, make them visible again.
