I am trying to connect a 5th hub to 4 hubs/switches. First is this possible or is there a rule that you can only link 4 hubs together. If it is possible, do I need to do something extra to make it work? If it's not possible, what do I need to do to add more connections?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Dear,
There is a rule of 5-4-3 for better performance of the shared ethernet Network.
But practically if you connect the fifth one, if works absolutely fine. Only hitch is the network traffic and nature of this traffic on your network. You may or may not get the performance as desired.

There should be no problems with that.
The only problem there could be is that it not are in a up-link or the cabel are not twisted

Good Luck
