How do I limit the number of users?

Hi, I would like to develop an interface that will allow upto five users, but no more than five to have access the the SQL 7 database. How can I do this. Thanks in advance.

Do you want to allow only 5 concurrent users logged in at the same time or do you have 5 people that you want to allow into the server and only those 5?
