How do I limit the number of users?

Hi, I'd like to develop an interface that is licensed to only five users. I'd like help with ensuring that only these five users have access to the SQL7 database. Thanks in advance.

Your interface can check for the below statment everytime when the user logs in to the application.

select count(dbid) from sysprocesses where dbid in (select dbid from sysdatabases where name ='pubs')
