How do I join with another Organization?

For those of you who are an Exchange guru, please help with this.

My Exchange 5.5 server was under a company called “abc”; our “abc” company have sold our company to another buyer. I can still view the primary “xyz” Exchange 5.5 server under the HQ site name, but everything is grey out. I need to make some changes on the HQ site, but since the “abc” company had sold us and have moved they primary “xyz” Exchange 5.5 with them. How do I take control of that primary Exchange 5.5 server to make changes. Again, everything is grey out on that server.
