How do I install the Cognos 8.4 samples on a SQL2008 database 1

Dear,

I have installed Cognos 8.4 with MS SQL2008. This is working fine but I want to install the sample files GOSALESDW and GOSALES on the MS SQL2008 server.
Please can give someone me advise how to install the sample content on a MS SQL2008 database?

Assuming 2008 is much the same as 2005 then you can create a new database through :
database --> Restore , fill in the appropriate name and then point to the location the .bak resides (add files)

After restore you need to enable access by mapping the login to the newly created database (you will find this under security)
